Welcome…!

Welcome all you model railroaders and railfans to my new blog specifically for my two module freelance HO scale switching layout representing the former NYC Cincinnati Terminal Subdivision along the Ohio River west of downtown Cincinnati. Of course now it’s 1968+ so the railroad is now Penn Central, but you’ll also see some B&O action as well, as their tracks ran parallel to the PC.

My modules came from my previous garage size layout based on the former NYC/PC Hitop Branch in West Virginia, a layout which was published twice, once in Model Railroader magazine in March 2016, and later in the premiere issue of PC Modeler, put out by the Penn Central Railroad Historical Society.

Be sure to check out my Wordpress website called The Weathering Depot which highlights and showcases my weathering primarily HO scale model trains . The link is listed under the Links tab. I have clients around the country I have done commission work for, so be sure to contact me for any weathering I can do for you!

Hope you all enjoy my blog here, which will feature operations on the layout plus background stories on the industries plus historical information on the general prototype area being modeled….
