Making way.,,,

 Making way for the diner finally being shipped. I’ve removed the electric substation from its location. The part shown below I’ve moved to the edge of the layout so as to keep at least part of the structure in this industrial area.

I first removed enough of the ground cover then put down a dirt and gravel base. When dry I then added this part of the structure:

The area where the diner will sit now looks like this below. I’ve added two Woodland Scenics birch trees which will sit behind the diner, with the light pole out front. With the diner in place I’ll add a wall telephone to the building, a few customers out front, and several garbage cans.
